Reppin' the Streets & the Stars

Founded in November of 2011, Unisphere Clothing, is inspired by a 12 Story, 700,000 pound structure also called the “Unisphere” located in Flushing Meadows-Corona Park, Queens, New York City. Many residents of New York, New Jersey, and the World can see this structure during Professional Baseball Games, The US Open Tennis Competition, and more. .

Drawn to this symbol, we incorporated it in to our clothing. To us the Unisphere not only represents its original theme of “Global Interdependence” and “The Space Age”, as it did in the 1964-1965 New York World’s Fair, but to us it also is a symbol that represents the Tri-State area and the communities that surround it.

Incorporating Street Art in to our designs we represent the urban communities, not only in the NY/NJ areas, but also around the United States. With this we believe we are not only representing the streets we know, love and are familiar with but are also displaying the message of individuality, independence, and the acceptance of the unconventional.

Mr. Uni is a trademark character that makes use of our messages & symbols and combines them into a character. A former citizen from a planet far from ours, Mr. Uni, left his former planet after receiving harsh criticism of his art & personality. He set out on a journey to find a place where he and his artwork would be accepted. That place he found is here on Earth. Equipped with a Fat Marker, Spray Paint Can, and an occasional cigarette you’ll find Mr. Uni on many of our products and marketing materials.
